It's coming before valentines day. Twin Flames is the second song from my forthcoming country/folk/sunshine pop cd. Thank you to everyone who commented about Peace and Love and No More War. Yes it's a whole new genre. It's also about things I've never recorded before, deep personal stuff and peace and love. I've lived in Austin Texas for 6 years now and live music is everywhere here, the grocery store, the gas station, the side of the road. I'm not kidding. I set out to create a new sound on this collection of songs influenced by the music I hear around town. Some of the best musicians in town have kindly joined me on these recordings.

In this video you see a song being born through improvisation. Steve Hager and I were hanging out the morning after the big ceremony, The High Times Stony Awards in Hollywood. As Steve took a call from film maker Melissa Balin I started strumming the chords and singing a few words which would become the verse. After Steve finished with the call he immediately flipped on his camera and joined in with the words that would become the chorus. Still energized by the power of the ceremony this song spontaneously formed through improvisation. There was no rehearsal. It happened exactly as recorded.

tribute to Jack Herer at the 10th Annual Stony Awards in Hollywood. The Stony Awards recognize high achievement in film and television. This years
winners included John Cusack, Dean Norris, Betsy Brandt, Daniel Franzese,
Craig Robinson, Drew Barrymore and others. It was
an honor to be asked to perform the song I wrote about Jack. I was also
able to perform it for his family after the funeral last April. Jack Herer is the founder of the modern
hemp movement. I had the pleasure of meeting him and spending time
together several times in Amsterdam over the years. Hemp can be used for food, fuel, fiber and so much
more. Did you know you can build houses and cars out of hemp? It's
