The Cannabis Castaways are four men and two women, selected from video tapes they submitted to High Times, stranded on a houseboat in Amsterdam with the world's best pot. High Times was there to film the whole thing. Hundreds of hours of video tape was edited down to 7 episodes to be shown on Hightimes.com, a new episode premiering each week. "This is our alternate reality show, a counterculture alternative to network overkill," says Cannabis Castaways creator, HIGH TIMES editor Steve Hager. "These are our stoned survivors." WHO ARE THE CASTAWAYS? CLICK on any photo of the Castaways to read their bios and see the videos they made themselves -these were the videos selected by High Times judges when choosing contestants. WHAT IF I MISS AN EPISODE? A new episode will be available on the web site each week for the next 7 weeks, when HIGH TIMES will feature the Castaways on the cover of its 13th annual Cannabis Cup issue (May issue), which will announce the winner. All of the episodes will remain on the website and can be viewed at any time. HOW DO YOU PLAY? The Castaways job was not to eliminate each other, but rather to eliminate strains of pot from an unlimited supply of Amsterdam's finest. The last type of pot left would be the winner of the Cannabis Cup. Your job is to enjoy the show each week and to participate in the POLLS by clicking on the VOTE button.
