I got to know this beautiful, smart, and funny woman in Amsterdam at the Cup three years -  '00, 01, and '02.  She is actually a kind of mentor to me in some ways.  She gave me some, what I consider to be, some very savvy show biz advise.  She's got some street smarts, this one.  She inspired me to write and record the song THIS GIRL IS WATERMELON from my Cd, PUFF ON A BIG FAT J.  The remix of the track THIS GIRL IS WATERMELON (MELON GIRL MIX) from my remix CD PARTY TONIGHT went to #8 on the mp3.com club chart.

Watermelon can be found on stage in Vancouver entertaining stoners at night in her shows THE HALFWAY HOUSE FOR WAYWARD ARTISTS or THE GROW SHOW and selling her famous pot cookies naked on Wreck Beach.  Well, she used to sell her cookies naked on the beach until the police ran an undercover sting and put her out of the cookie business...

Later they were spotted carrying milk around Wreck Beach when they solicited and entrapped me. I am now being charged with two counts of allegedly trafficking in ginger snap cookies. Don't let this happen to your kids."

Canada's Top Ten Most Sexiest Criminal, Weed Diva "Watermelon" has yet another postponement in her upcoming cookie controversy. The new date set for the trial is December 8th 2003 at 9:30am in the new Richmond Courthouse where ever the hell that is. Mark it on your new calendar. Come watch your tax dollars at work.
